You can find the bus schedules (in French only) on the following site: click here.
A bus ride from/to the train station to/from the city center should take about 5 minutes.
A bus ride from/to the city center to/from the conference place (bus 3 - Batty Weber or bus 2 - Square Andre) should take about 10 minutes.
A walk from/to the train station to/from the city center is about 15 minutes (20 minutes according to google maps).
A walk from/to city center to/from auditoire Tavenas is about 15 minutes (21 minutes accroding to google maps).

A number of rooms are already reserved for participants in three hotels (downtown):
The discount applies if you take 2 or 3 nights and you mention the conference at booking. For only one night, you will have the normal prices (the ones between brakets).

Special events

From 21 August to 9 September there is the Schueberfouer, (funfair).
As a consequence, there will be traffic and parking disturbances for those coming by car (see Parking)

Parking

There are no know convenient and free parking facilities in Luxembourg city. There are some private ones (indoor and outdoor - paying).
Otherwise, there is a possibility to leave your car at the University Campus Kirchberg, or in one of the P+R facilities. There are bus connections from there.
